Let me take you back to the year 2020, when the world was a bit crazy and messy. I found myself bored at home, looking for something to do. I’ve always had a special kind of love for hot sauce, so I thought, “Why not try to make my own?” I started messing around with fermentation, and eventually learned to make my own hot sauce, but it needed something more. It was time for some experimenting!
I messed around with different fruit flavor combinations, and let me tell you, some of my early attempts were pretty rough. My family and friends became my official flavor fan club, taste-testing after taste-testing . After A LOT of trial and error (and definitely a few questionable batches), I ended up with a end result that I was proud of!
Everyone loved my hot sauce, and I thought, “Why keep all this hot, tasty fun to myself?” That’s how Hot Mess Hot Sauce was born.
